EDUCATION
WHAT IT IS:
Our educational work takes the values of UDB and places them within an educational context. We believe that God loves everybody more than we could ever imagine and has given unique qualities and talents. UDB encourages young people to know their own value and to have a vision for their lives.
HOW WE WORK:
For young people – we believe in serving the emotional, physical and spiritual the needs of young people
In partnership – we look to work alongside schools and other agencies
WHAT WE DO:
We run lessons and assemblies across both primary and secondary schools fulfilling curriculum requirements in Personal, Social & Health Education and Religious Education. We have developed lunchtime clubs as well as small group and one-on-one mentoring sessions to support young people who struggle to fit into conventional classroom environments. We are also learning how to connect with young people who are not in employment, education or training and finding out how we can best meet their needs and help them fulfill their potential.
